- The ancient village of Kamgwa in the the Shimmering Isles used to keep a shrine dedicated to the Great Wave. This enchanted tide would wash onto the island every summer, mysteriously bringing fresh water from the salty sea. This perennial event kept the villagers' farms watered and made permanent living on the island possible. We now know that this was likely the work of a migrating Tidal Dragon, which has been known to splash entire coastlines whilst playing. If only it knew that its annual playtime was responsible for an entire culture!
- —Nogard's description of the tidal dragon in The Book of Dragons
Their massive strength can turn large ships to wrecks in few minutes.
To protect themselves, they can send huge waves towards their adversaries. The fur on their neck protects them as well.
Those dragons are known to be a very powerful hydromancers.
Behavior and Personality
Tidal dragons are very playful, but one must be careful for they have a tendency to cause massive destruction on accident.
