Radon is the Promethium Dragon of the wizard Hartfell. For his own safety and to lengthen Radon's life, he used a spell to remove his radioactivity, even though that spell is normally only allowed in Dragon Parks. Hartfell found Radon when he escaped out of the Rift along with the dark dragons. He used Radon to research this new breed.
