Kessie(or Kessi) is a female Water Dragon who lives in Lake Kes(hence her name), and is today depicted and honored in the Water Shrine. Her deed was saving the people of the Cliffside from impending earthquakes by hauling them into the safer waters nearby. Even now, the "helpful" Kessie may drag swimming humans to the shores, even if they didn't need any help.
