The cotton dragon's main weapon is its huge horns, which it uses to toss and batter aside almost any creature that threatens it. Its powerful tail can be used to knock aside an enemy.

Cotton dragons are very strong and remarkably fast runners, capable of running full speed for miles.

Cotton dragons can withstand extreme heat and also extreme cold due to the plush, breathable cotton that grows on their backs. They are also rather intelligent. Their thick cotton coats protect their necks and backs from battle injuries.

Cotton dragons are extremely adaptable and can be found throughout the Verulean Highlands, the Verulean Lowlands, the Sandara Desert, Ulster Meadows, even the lower slopes of the Berrywhite Mountains.

Cotton dragons enjoy open spaces to run in and lots of grass to eat.
Sheltering/Nesting[]
Cotton dragons spend most of their lives living and sleeping in the open air, but mother cotton dragons build nests for their eggs by digging holes in the sandy ground and lining them with cotton. Abandoned cotton dragon nests are a valuable source of sustainable cotton for wizard robes.

Origin of Name[]
The fiber shed yearly from the cotton dragon's hide was actually discovered before the cotton dragon itself, and was named "cotton". When the cotton dragon was discovered, the wizards found out that cotton dragons have wool made of real cotton, and named them after this fact.
